Equally horrible — ugly on the inside because of her ugly thoughts. She has a glass eye. Both Twits represent the idea that ugliness of character produces ugliness of face.
The caged monkey family — dignified, intelligent and longing for freedom. They are the moral contrast to the Twits.
A brightly coloured bird who speaks many languages and acts as a go-between for the Muggle-Wumps and the other birds.
