Pupils write a newspaper report from the local newspaper: 'THREE FARMERS IN STAND-OFF WITH FOX.' They should include: what has happened, quotes from Boggis, Bunce and Bean, and a description of the scene.
Split the class. One group argues Mr Fox is justified; the other argues stealing is always wrong. Each side prepares three arguments. After the debate, take a class vote and discuss what changed anyone's mind.
Pupils draw and describe the underground feast. What food is there? How is it laid out? What do the different animals bring? Encourage creative and sensory description.
