Sab is a ghost with specific rules about what he can and cannot do. Pupils design their own ghost character — what are the rules? What can this ghost do that living people cannot? What can it not do? Write a short scene where the ghost's rules create a problem and a solution.
Pupils write a diary entry from Aunt Alberta's perspective on the day Stella wakes up and starts asking questions. What does Alberta think? What is she planning? Keep in character — comically villainous throughout.
